The Story

Moment Zero wasn’t something I set out to build. It started as a distraction.

Nothing prepares you for losing a parent—especially when it happens unexpectedly, in a way you couldn’t even imagine. There’s no handbook for how to navigate that kind of grief. I was overwhelmed, angry, lost... and searching for a way back to myself.

I wasn’t looking to launch a company. I just needed something—anything—to quiet the noise. Golf has always been that space for me. I’ve played since I was two years old. It’s where I’ve always felt most at peace. So I turned to the game—and started tinkering.

With my engineering background, I found myself sketching, tweaking, redesigning. What began as a late-night coping mechanism quickly became something more. Hundreds of iterations later, I realized this wasn’t just about building a better putter. It was about rebuilding me. About finding control again in a world that suddenly felt unrecognizable.

Moment Zero was born from that process—not just of creating something, but of healing. It became a way to face the uncomfortable truth that life can flip in an instant. And when it does, we’re left with a choice: carry the weight or meet the change with intention.

We all go through things we never saw coming—loss, change, heartbreak, setbacks. Life has a way of breaking our plans wide open and forcing us to figure out who we really are. Moment Zero is about those moments. It’s that in-between space: between what was and what’s next.
